Surgery

Our surgery suite is set up to make sure your pet’s anesthetic experience is very safe. We use isoflurane anesthesia for all surgeries. Inductive warming devices are used to make sure our patients don’t get hypothermic while under anesthesia. We will also be monitoring their electrocardiogram, pulse oximetry, blood pressure and capnography while they sleep so that any abnormalities may be caught as soon as possible.

We perform a variety of soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries in-house. Besides spaying and neutering, we often remove skin tumors, take out bladder stones, repair hernias and many other more complicated surgeries. If you look back in our surgery suite, you may sometimes catch Dr. Kutch repairing a torn cruciate ligament in a dog’s knee or fixing a kneecap that didn’t want to stay in place.
